This series arose as a response to creating a unique body of work that celebrates the city I call home; Charleston SC. Since moving here in 2002, I have continually fallen head over heels in love with the streets, alleys, people and overall vibe of the town. I mean you can tell what season it is by scent on the air [jasmine/wisteria = end of spring], the amount of bugs you are swatting [probably july or august], the coolness of the mornings [ok, lets be real, its pretty magical 10 months of the year weather wise, so lets just call this period fall-sprinter]. I wanted to showcase my appreciation while challenging myself to stretch my photographic muscle by using a technique I love so much; multiple exposure. All images were captured in camera and digitally developed there after.
